The Library Quality Assurance Cell (LQAC) organized the workshop on “performance development of the library staff through service quality” to enhance the performance of the library staff through Service Quality. The workshop was held only for the Main library staff and the following areas were covered at the workshop;duties and responsibilities of library staff by Mr.KGI jayawardena SAL/ Acquisitions & Faculty Librarian of Medical Library libraryhow to fulfil user requrment in crisis situation by. Mr.APMMD dayananda AL/ Reader Services, Main Library how to support reader using opac by Mrs. GDAS malkanthi SAL/ Faculty Librarian, Makandura Premiseshow to face an interview and ready to a written test by. Mrs.WM thusithakumari Actg. LibrarianIn this crisis in the country, it was difficult to conduct the workshop for all staff of the WULN on the same day and we hope to extend a similar workshop for the branch library staff (Makandura & Labuyaya premises) as soon as possible
