The library has to develop the collection, resource, Services building and other infrastructure facilities including electronic media to achieve the University vision mission and goals.Weeding, conserving and preserving of library materials to meet future needs of the user community of the university and Wayamba province.

Build the connection with the Wayamba scholars and institutions (Libraries, Research centers, , Scholars, Historians, Scientists of the area in Technical colleges, Teacher training colleges schools etc. of Wayamba province) and of course with other national and international academic centers in the Island.
